Weddings
To commit yourself in marriage, and join your lives together is an act of great significance. It is to say publicly that you believe in love. That you commit to loving in a generous and complete way, and that you will stand for love, even in the face of hardship and life’s many challenges. It is a bold and beautiful act. In our fast-paced culture many people have defaulted to a 10 minute wedding ceremony, viewing the act of saying vows as a necessary step in the process of marriage, without fully understanding the significance and alchemy that can take place if this is act done intentionally and in true ceremonial form.
My desire in serving as a ceremonialist for weddings is to bring back the magic of ritual, the power of words spoken aloud in front of a community of witnesses, and the alchemy of transformation that occurs went two people joined their lives together in a declaration of love and commitment.
I help couples to craft ceremonies that are personal, powerful, and deeply moving. In working with me, you will join in a process to create a ceremony specifically crafted for you as a couple. Bringing in elements of ritual, ancestral tradition, and the fullness of life that each of you bring to your marriage.
I have never performed the same wedding ceremony, each one is crafted with love and tenderness, honoring the humans that are entering into union, their stories, and their desires for a ceremony that truly honors the right of passage that marriage is. You will not only be legally married, but you will have moved into a new space together, joined in a union forged through ritual and connection to the spirit.
My process for working with couples is to begin with a discovery call which is free of charge for up to 30 minutes. If we decide that working together is a fit, we will then schedule a longer interview where I can get to know some of your background, desires, and begin to flesh out what type of a ceremonial magic we will create together.
Ceremonies begin at $400 and vary in price, due to complexity, preparation time requirements, and location.
